Seeking qualified Construction and Energy Management Instructors and Department Chair Hello, Santa Cruz Construction Guild!
I’m Jessica, and I’m the Instructional Division Assistant for the Natural and Applied Sciences Division at Cabrillo College.
I’m writing today because we have an urgent need for Construction and Energy Management Instructors for the fall semester, as well as a Department Chair position available immediately. My current Department Chair, Chuck Mornard, recommended that I reach out to you as a place to recruit potential applicants.
Here are the specifics:
CEM 160 – Construction Management
Wednesday – 6:00 – 9:05 p.m.
CEM 162HR – Home Energy Rating System
Monday – 8:45 – 9:35 p.m.
Under the direction of the Dean of Natural and Applied Sciences, in collaboration with department faculty, and in compliance with established college policies and procedures, the Construction and Energy Management Department Chair coordinates and participates in activities supporting department involvement in governance, and develops recommendations regarding scheduling, staffing, instructional department planning, resource allocation, and facility use. The Department Chair works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the Construction and Energy Management department and supports staff.
