Out of the Woods Mill

We mill wood, any and all wood and LOVE IT! Our love and passion shows in our attitude & finished product and its contagious! I love the creative process with other passionate artists.

We custom mill at your site with your own logs or at our site for your project. Our mills produces rough sawn lumber. We also make heart center redwood beams which are unique both visually and structurally. No project too big or too small. All our wood is local and we produce Slabs, Flooring, Barns, Siding, Furniture grade Hardwoods, Resawn Timber, Sawdust and Chips.

I finally found what I was looking for. Milling wood is my jam! I have always worked with wood and back in high school I was in wood shop or the pool. After spending 20+ years in Silicon Valley I packed up and moved to the Santa Cruz Mountains. Started milling logs for flooring and all the visible wood in our home and that was it. I was hooked.

Now we have three portable mills the Woodmizer LT70 Super Hydraulic, Mobile Dimension and Lucas M8-30 with the 64″ slabbing attachment.
