Hardwood and Bamboo

Mission Floors specializes in quality solid and engineered prefinished flooring. Prefinished woods provide a harder more resistant finish by nature, expanding the life of your floor. Many prefinished woods can be installed as floating floors which need no nails or adhesive, and can even be removed and re-installed elsewhere.

We also carry exotic hardwoods, and feature hand-scraped woods, rustic finishes and clean cut beveled edges. We have over 300 samples available for checkout including products made in the United States.

Here at Mission Floors we provide a range of options for every project. Teragren rapidly renewable bamboo floors are harvested from forests dedicated to sustainable forestry, insuring the hardness of your floor. We also carry other brands that feature beautiful stranded bamboo designs and all natural caramelized colors.

Vinyl

Vinyl is commonly used for kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms because of its ability to withstand water, heavy traffic and large appliances. Mission Floors in Santa Cruz carries both residential and commercial vinyl. We are proud to stock over ten styles of vinyl at all times, including remnants and full roll options.

We offer a wide range of Mannington, Mannington Sobella, Armstrong and Ktech vinyl and are happy to check out samples for customers or make sample books for property managers. Stock samples include a range of styles from slate tiles to classic 50’s black and white checkerboard floor.

Mission floors also stocks supplies and adhesives for experienced installers and talented do-it-yourselfers at our local warehouse. Call the showroom for warehouse hours and material availability.

Laminate

Want the beauty of wood or tile without the high cost and maintenance? Interested in installing a floor on your own? Laminate flooring is a synthetic multi-layer surface that is made to resemble wood, tile and other surfaces while giving your installer and your budget a

break. Laminate surfaces have a hard, durable finish and offer brand specific, easy-to-install, click systems¬. Laminates are a great option for the DIY handy person.

Mission Floors in Santa Cruz is happy to carry Mannington, Quickstep, Bruce, Armstrong and Shaw laminates as well as underlayments that are LEEDs compliant and exceed clean air requirements.

Commercial Flooring

Traditionally, Commercial Flooring is boring and plain, but at Mission Floors, we’re happy to carry more than just traditional variations of VCT, linoleum and commercial carpet. In addition to the basics we have a variety of eco-friendly commercial goods including cork and Marmoleum as well as solid vinyl products including Luxury Vinyl Tile, VCT and sheet goods. We also carry a growing selection of commercial carpet tiles, commercial rubber flooring, athletic flooring and indoor/outdoor carpet.

Eco Friendly-Green Flooring

Mission Floors in Santa Cruz is a certified green business. We are happy to promote several eco-friendly flooring options including Cork, Bamboo, Marmoluem, domestically harvested Hardwoods, Wool Carpeting, Sisal, Sea Grass and Linen. These options are safe for children, pets, and environmentally sensitive individuals.

Most products are LEED compliant, have minimal VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) and are suitable for residential and commercial use. Our eco-friendly options are composed of a wide range of natural and/or renewable materials from wool to renewable cork to linoleum (linseed oil).
