New Guild Member, FlowTech, Launches Westside Santa Cruz Office, Training Center, and Building Efficiency Business Hub

FlowTech, a manufacturer's representative for HVAC and energy efficiency equipment, has joined the Santa Cruz Construction Guild and opened a new facility on the Westside of Santa Cruz. The company supports engineers, contractors, and distributor partners in implementing all-electric, low-refrigerant heat pump systems, driving sales, marketing, and training for innovative technologies like SpacePak and Viessmann air-to-water heat pumps.
These hydronic heat pump systems are gaining traction in the decarbonization movement, fueled by energy code policies and growing consumer interest. Key benefits include reduced refrigerant volume, lower connected load, and the ability to provide heating, cooling, and domestic hot water from a single outdoor unit. FlowTech also represents unitary heat pump water heaters, "Roomate" micro heat pumps, and Sunamp phase-change thermal storage products.
The new Westside facility serves as FlowTech's company office, equipment showroom, and training center. The training component offers hands-on, "live-fire" instruction on installation and service, alongside classroom training in a 20-seat, internet-connected conference room.
FlowTech's founder and longtime Santa Cruz resident, Zach Liske, is thrilled to support the local community, drawing on his experience owning and operating local construction companies. "While FlowTech operates statewide, I'm excited to establish our anchor in Santa Cruz and support the local design, energy, and construction community," Liske said. "I'm also proud to showcase Santa Cruz's natural beauty and recreational opportunities as part of our training and entertainment events for clients visiting from the Bay Area and beyond."
