We truly cannot say enough good things about Larry. He is the best. Not only will we reach out to him for all our future designing needs, but we will forever recommend and actively encourage our friends and family to seek him out. We lucked into Larry through the Santa Cruz Construction Guild website after our initial designer had to step away from our project. As first-time home buyers in Capitola attempting a remodel at the outset, we relied heavily on Larry throughout the design and planning process and were impressed by his responsiveness, expertise with all things Santa Cruz County, and final design product. In fact, all people involved with the project, including contractors and others, routinely complimented Larry's conceptual design, technical specifications, pace of work, and overall vision. Although we had a clear idea of the type of remodel we wanted, Larry brought so much more to the table than we expected and offered so many considerations we hadn't thought of before. Whether we were discussing how to plan out our budget in person or speaking about the newest energy efficient appliances over the phone, we always appreciated having Larry in our corner. Larry helped coordinate third parties, such as structural and mechanical engineers, and was able to refer us to a variety of professionals to bid on our project. Being a former builder himself, Larry brings a unique perspective and emphasizes making smart decisions with outsized benefits for our budget.
