O Brien Building did do the job right! I love my new front deck. I make time every day to enjoy the luxurious wood and the sound construction. Having the crew on site was pleasant and positive, Santa Cruz county natives making a living and living it right. The job itself was not as straightforward as it sounds. Because it was a rebuild with some tension around the responsibilities for the initial errors in construction by a different contractor, finding someone to take the job was difficult. Michael Hartrich, guild founder, was my go to and helped pair me with Justin O Brien. Without their help I am afraid I would still have the buckled warped hazardous deck rather than the welcoming luxurious deck I now enjoy. Justin’s confidence and Micahels good will were responsable for this wonderful transformation. There are so many builders in Santa Cruz but to find a builder , and who is a member of a guild, that can promise and deliver, is a privilege. Highest regards for this team and its support, and big big thanks for an expert job.
